Sir Christopher Evans again questioned by police

Sir Christopher Evans who was again questioned on Friday by police investigating the cash for honours scandal, and subsequent perverting the course of justice scandal, has admitted that he made a note in his diary about a conversation he had had with Michael Levy in which the latter had raised the subject of a Knighthood or Peerage as a just reward for a donation to the Labour Party. And, that Evans had scribbled "K or P?" in shorthand in his diary.

Man is asked to donate money to the Labour Party by the Labour Party's Chief fundraiser. Nothing is for nothing. It comes at a price. Man declares his surprise, and claims to have done nothing wrong but be naive. Full text of letter to the Sunday Telegraph here.

What sort of ringpiece keeps a diary of all his wrongdoings? And why have aforementioned ringpieces got any sort of power? 'Nuff said.
