I've thought for months they've done it, researched there entire family and connected them all to it, but now it comes to the crunch, i just wanted it to be a conspiracy in my head and some little old lady was looking after her somewhere,lol.........my heart breaks for madeleine xx
JHL- I have put a summary of the case and the most probably conclusion up at my blog.
Sonias, so does mine. Like you I too suspected them both, but whereas many put the blame onto him, I always thought SHE had a lot to do with it. She kept saying that she felt close to Madeleine, there at Praia da Luz; I read that a neighbour heard Madeleine cry for her father and not for her mother. Also, she, a mother, said hardly anything in those early interviews. Unfortunately, I don't think justice will be done in law.
Somebody should ask at PMQs exactly what is Gordon Brown's involvement in all this. But nobody will.
Kirsty Wark and the BBC are, or should be, culpable of something -conspiracy or perversion of the course of justice. Nobody at the BBC, of course, can even spell shame.
As for Team McCann and the deeply revolting aunt and uncle, somebody should give them a quick rub down with a housebrick. And keep those twins a very long way away from anyone called McCann.
I guess those of us who spotted them as wrong 'uns from the word go are, actually, in the majority. Amazing how the press has behaved. Thank goodness for the net.
hi anon, apparently that night she was screaming for her dad, she was for many hours, eventually someone from the resort went to fetch the mccanns from the tapas bar to tend to maddie, all i'm saying is they were not very happy about been disturbed! i have it from a source in portugal who was holidaying the same time, was that the night she died, because she was kicking up a fuss!!
Kate's mother, Susan Healy inadvertently affirms that Madeleine is dead when she declares that the Portugues police must have placed blood in the car now being used by the McCanns.
By refusing to acknowledge that her own daughter could be responsible for her grand-daughter's disappearance, she unwittingly confirms her grand-daughters death. Granting Mrs Healy the benefit of the doubt by accepting that the Portugues police are crooked, how then does this explain how the police came to be in possession of Madeleine's blood in the first place if Madeleine is presumed by the family to still be alive?
Liz: I thought it was an odd statement to make at the time.
I noted when Robert Murat became a suspect he maintained his silence. And yet, when the McCanns became suspects they speak out through relatives and friends.
Two things stick out in my mind;
1) Gerry announcing 2 weeks before the 50th day that they would mark it by releasing 50 balloons. How did he know so far in advance that she wouldn't be found?
2) When Kate was asked whether Madeleine was asleep when they went off to the Tapas Bar, she had to think about the answer before replying. In my view, if this was her last sighting of Madeleine she would not have needed to think about the answer.
Mr Hull, did you really do that to an old lady?
sonias: It's no secret.
I wasn't implying it was a secret, i just wanted to ask, meaning no disrespect, i don't listen to whispers thought i'd just ask!
lol......i have a thousand questions now!!
John,
I am reading these postings out of synch - very interesting, considering what you have written here. I wrote a posting on another McCann link, which picked up on what you said - before you said it ! As it were !
