Why do these "innocent" Doctors need the best defence Lawyers and PR agents that money can buy?

On the news the other evening (Channel 4) Gerry was quoted as saying (presumably from his blog) that he and Kate were 100% confident that each other had not been involved in the abduction of Madeleine.
Key word: abduction. They are the only ones who use this word. The PJ have given them arguido/a status in connection with the disappearance of Madeleine.
I cannot help but think that this is a deliberate attempt to pervert. No-one is accusing them of being involved in Madeleine's abduction - just her disappearance. Intelligent people do not make the mistake of using the "wrong" word in order to express themselves - unless it is a deliberate attempt to thwart, or to twist.
Are we sure it wasn't O J Simpson GM went to see in the States?
Where has McGuiness's salary been coming from ? Is it from the FindMadeleineFund ? And has that been used to fund all these flights by family and sundry scouse gits out to Portugal? And is McG bailing out because she can no longer even persuade herself of all this horse shit.
On another tack, if Hall is any good he'll tell them to take whatever deal may be on offer; plead diminished responsibility.
