McCanns steal £300,000 from findmadeleinefund
It is no wonder that the McCanns are called the McScams in some circles. They are suspects in the killing and disposing of Madeleine's body. And set up a fund which people donated money to, on the basis that the money would be used to help find Madeleine.
"Meanwhile, the directors of Madeleine's Fund, which was set up to finance the search for the four-year-old, announced they have spent about £300,000 so far. Much of the money has been spent on poster campaigns, private investigators and the McCanns' living expenses".
Why don't they simply rename it the McCanns living expenses fund? As far as I am concerned they are cheeky beggars. They have chosen not to work for a living. If the police are looking for a motive, it is staring them in the face. Financial motive is a strong reason for murder.

And the saddest part of the whole circus is that a vocal percentage of the population is still taken in by these money-grabbing, attention seeking sociopaths.

We knew the money was not there to gain interest. I wouldn't mind guessing that most of the posters and wrist bands were donated.
Its clear Team McCann are profiting from the situation and guilty or not they are sticking two fingers up at everyone.

I can't believe how much support they have from the general public when they are clearly guilty of neglect and quite possibly more (i personally think they are guilty as sin, but lets keep an open mind eh?)

On top, though, of the findwotsernameagain?fund there ought to be shitloads of personal appearance/interview fees. Fishwife Philomena, sprawled across a couple of sofas in the GMTV studioe won't be doing it for nothing and the Glasgow McCann Herald will have Brother John on a retainer; he's a friend of powerful people. There is some legislation preventing imprisoned criminals from profitting from their crimes. If the McCanns do get done, even for neglect, we should try to get this money back from them all - sell their houses - and give it to a Portugese charity
The British people were only ever recognized for conquering, no one turns to the British History section to demonstrate intellectual thought. Team McCann were aware of a possitive sighting. The story goes..
There are reports coming through that a small child has been spotted by a penguin. The penguin which does not speak English used native wing flapping. The lionseal that interviewd the penguin was sure that the child spotted could be the missing one.
He was sure that the findthingybob braclet glowing bright yellow was the same one bought from the makeloadsofmoneyfund.
Interpole were informed and soon told RicheyRichMcCann who informed them to hang on a bit. As he knew that it could not be the missing one (cause he already knows where she is) and said I need to make another 100k so go public in 21 days.
Interpole agreed as they had not yet recieved the 50k payment for the morrocco case.
Once the picture had been published it was clear it was a canadian goose with a leg band.
The goose is said to be doing well and has since been redirected to warmer lands.
The official statement from Team McCann reads:-
we are upset that this obvious sighting has not developed into anything possitive. Are hopes were raised as was our fund account. Not to case distress we have withdrawn another 100k for a hloiday in Australia. The search continues......

Would anyone here name a fund to find a living person "Leaving no stone unturned"? Living people are not searched for under the stones...

For crying out loud "Leaving no stone unturned" is certainly an expression I wouldn't use if I was looking for my own living daughter!
