American man jailed after daughter fails exam
"A father who was ordered by a judge to keep a close eye on his daughter's education has been jailed for six months after she failed a maths exam".
I thought America was the land of the free? This is complete madness. I am almost innumerate and there is no way I could pass a maths exam. As if prisons are not overcrowded as it is, without sending more to prison because of the conduct of others.
A mixture of law, politics, autobiography and humour. Once described as "The Devilish Advocate" (Guardian), I do have the ability to provoke a response. Sometimes it comes from someone who uses a thought process, and sometimes from jerks usually associated with the knee.
