Eighteen police officers have been disciplined for joking about crashing cars and injuring pedestrians on a social networking website, the Metropolitan police said today.

Some of those pedestrians are pretty ripe candidates though, John.
This is major stuff, not like the case of the copper who helped a murderer evade justice for 14 years. His ex-colleagues feel nothing but sympathy for him.

And not to mention the brave copper who couldn't move a group of three drunken louts along but could use his "influence" to force a disabled motorist suffering an anxiety attack to "get out of this street"
