Racist killer captured after bid to flee court
Son of police officer guilty of racist murder. He may have joined the Army to continue his racist killings. And, yet, The Herald describes him as an Iraqi war hero! It is getting ridiculous when everybody who serves in Iraq or Afghanistan are described as heroes. This used to be the label bestowed upon those who's courageous act went beyond the call of duty. I think it was Margaret Thatcher who devalued this whole thing by awarding Colonel 'H' a VC during the Falklands/Malvinas conflict. All he did was stick his head up and say "Right lads, up and at 'em" before he got it blown off by a bullet.
Heads up to Jemmy Hope for alerting me to this story in the comments section of No Laughing Matter below.
