Is Branston Community College a racist institution?
A BNP supporting 15 year old school boy, who's father is a member of the BNP, has been convicted of racist harassment of a 14 year old mixed-race girl. The young thug is a pupil of Branston Community College a comprehensive school for 11-18 year old students on Station Road in Branston, Lincolnshire, England, LN4 1LH.
According to the Daily Telegraph report the school cannot be named. However, it only took 2 minutes on Google Search not only to name the school but shame the school!
It is not surprising that the school was unable to see what was going on under their nose for 6 months, given that the pupil numbers has risen from 350 to over 1,000.

A mixture of law, politics, autobiography and humour. Once described as "The Devilish Advocate" (Guardian), I do have the ability to provoke a response. Sometimes it comes from someone who uses a thought process, and sometimes from jerks usually associated with the knee.

How many incidents of racism the otehr way are reported? No one seems interested.
True, James. Also why isn't it that ORDINARY bullying incidents don't get the same treatment? Why is racial bullying so much more worthy of action than getting your head kicked in by a bunch of thugs of the same ethnic background as oneself?
I go to the school, and the boy (who of course, we all know who it was) was in my form tutor (registration group of 30 children)!
The school isn't racist at all, and this really has been blown out of proportion. The guilty child often spoke to me about how "white is right" etc etc, mentioning the BNP and reccomending the DNP based film 'This is England'. However, this is a one off circumstance and I do not doubt that upon returning to school there will be a huge re-think to the bullying campaign there.
The school achieved 'outstanding' from it's latest OfSted report and I do believe this speaks for itself. The school can't be held responsible for the actions of 1 nuscense child.
