Mozambique: MDM Members Jailed for Electoral Offences
Maputo — A court in the southern Mozambican city of Inhambane has sentenced 30 members of the opposition Mozambique Democratic Movement (MDM) to jail terms of two months for allegedly causing disturbances at polling stations during the Inhambane municipal by-election of 18 April.
A mixture of law, politics, autobiography and humour. Once described as "The Devilish Advocate" (Guardian), I do have the ability to provoke a response. Sometimes it comes from someone who uses a thought process, and sometimes from jerks usually associated with the knee.
