Tory MP fiddles expenses and dumps sick wife

Here's a story that neither Iain Dale nor Guido Fawkes will post. It concerns a crooked Tory MP who not only fiddled his expenses with fraudulent claims, but also dumped his wife because she became ill with breast cancer. Could this be what the Tory leader means by being progressive?

I think that James Gray should be put in the stocks and pelted with rotten eggs and squashed tomatoes and have slop buckets thrown over him.

When did you join the embittered ex-wives club?

Isn't that an incredibly old story? Or am I thinking of some other old Tory that did the same thing?

No I am not. Do you know what? I am thinking of good ole Newt Gingrich who did approximately the same thing in moving from wife 1 to wife 2 or wife 2 to wife three ... That got some blogging action.

Including Iain Dale - eight years after the fact.
