Home owner sued for junk mail injury
"A home owner is being threatened with legal action after a woman claimed she trapped her hand in his letterbox while delivering unwanted junk mail".
Sounds to me like a junk law suit which the judge should throw straight into the wastepaper basket!

I wonder if the letterbox had a 'no junk mail' sticker on it?
Mine does but no-one takes the slightest bit of notice.
What annoys me as that the postman delivers some to me and they neither have my name or address nor stamp on them!

You can opt out of that. A postman was recently disciplined for publicising this little-known fact (against commercial interest of Royal Mail). There was a big stink and he was quickly undisciplined.
I remember hearing about that case.
As my dog Rocky enjoys ripping them to shreds as they come through the letter box, I don't know if I should be a spoilsport...
