Back on t'internet
This morning I went into the city centre and purchased a secondhand Packard Bell Sempron 3000 tower for £125.
My other one is a Sempron 2600. The so-called IT bloke who took it away on Thursday has still not diagnosed the problem. The latest I heard he said he would have it fixed on Monday...
Meanwhile, I am back online and the money set aside to pay him has now been spent. His advert reads no fix no fee. If he's quick I will have to try and get the money from elsewhere, otherwise I just want my tower back to enable me to transfer files from the other hard drive onto my new secondhand one.
A mixture of law, politics, autobiography and humour. Once described as "The Devilish Advocate" (Guardian), I do have the ability to provoke a response. Sometimes it comes from someone who uses a thought process, and sometimes from jerks usually associated with the knee.
