Kitten attacks postman
Royal Mail threatens delivery withdrawal after postman 'attacked' by kitten
Royal Mail has warned a family they will not deliver their mail after a postman was "attacked" by their kitten.
The company wrote to shopkeeper Ken Ridge, 65, and his son Bradley, 30, after the postman was targeted by female kitten Illy at their home in Clapham, South London.
Office manager Mayo Sonubi wrote to the pair, saying: "I am writing to let you know that, on June 6, our postman was attacked by your animal in your premises while delivering mail to your address.
I remember the old westerns whereby the pony express had to deliver mail and suffered attacks by Red Indians. Why cannot I take the Royal Mail seriously any more?

You've got to watch these bloody kittens. They hide behind plants and viciously dash out at you.
Having worked for years with animals of all breeds and personalities. There have been times with very wild cats that we have removed their claws . The cat is sedated and the claws are removed this is harmless to the cat and to be honest they have no idea they are no longer there. Except of course the next time they try to attack the postman or climb a tree. We have made many a family owner fall in love again with his feline friend when he no longer claws his precious Queen Anne furniture.

Ironside: I have recently had to replace a 3-piece-suite because Rocky had scratched the seat cushions threadbare...
The problem John is Rocky needs a girlfriend have you thought of getting another dog?..Having said that years ago I had two german shepherd pups ,I went away for the night and when I returned they had eaten their way through my bed. Soooo, cancel that thought...I guess you had better just keep an eye on your new furniture ....and Rocky of course.

Speaking of kittens on a more serious note..I saw today in one of the papers a kitten had been shot at close range with an arrow..this kitten walked for eight days to return to its loving family. The arrow missed its heart by less than an inch.
This is the third case I have seen this week of cruelty, a baby deer kicked to death by a group of youths and two hares were found nailed by their paws to a fence with broken legs and wire tied around their necks.
I have no idea what type of people can hurt a harmless creature or what pleasure they seek by doing so. I have seen some terrible cases here in Spain but nothing like this. Here' if and when you are caught you go to prison for a very long time.
