Given that "They were hidden under the traditional garments worn by the women, whose identity and nationalities were unknown", how come it is being claimed that both women were mentally impaired with Downs Syndrome?.
A mixture of law, politics, autobiography and humour. Once described as "The Devilish Advocate" (Guardian), I do have the ability to provoke a response. Sometimes it comes from someone who uses a thought process, and sometimes from jerks usually associated with the knee.

This is what I said to my missus when I heard this. This type of comment is very similar to the type of statements made by government TV stations in the old East Berlin. If there had been dissident activity it was announced that the perpetrators were "mentally unstable" or similar. The Stasi propaganda machine were made to push the point that ANYBODY who rebelled against the system MUST by definition be "mentally ill" and that is what is happening here.
Shame, the demise of free thought.
