If the Newsnight debate for London Mayor is anything to go by, Boris will lose. It was rather like being at the circus and being disappointed that the clown was not funny. Twice Boris Johnson failed to give answers to questions raised by Jeremy Paxman. Whilst not in the same league as Michael Howard failing to answer the same question 12 times, it did show that Boris was empty of substance other than bluster and waffle.

I think the polls showing he had a chance are false. I was asked to say who I'd vote for if I lived in London, but to answer anyway and imagine who I'd vote for if I didn't live in London. So respondents from the shires would bump the Tory figures up. Plus you weren't allowed to name anyone aside from the 3 guys in the debate, as a candidate you'd vote for. And loads of people have lost interest in the 3 of them anyway. The other 7 candidates have so much more to say for themselves anyway.
Ken Livingstone is a cunt and that is what my 81 year old mother says after living in London under his rule for the past xxx number of years. Don't knock the alternative unless you have sufered under this cunt. Period.
