Prisoner flees after armed van hold-up
A prisoner escaped from custody today after an armed man held up a prison van, Scotland Yard said.
The van was stopped near Bedfont Lake, Feltham, west London, at around 7.45am this morning and the driver assaulted.
The prisoner made off in a car with the armed man.
