Judge orders man to repay £10 after stealing £14,000
A judge at Oxford Crown Court has ruled that a man convicted of a £14,000 fraud could not afford to pay back the full amount, so the judge ordered him to repay £10 instead!
Admittedly, the judge also gave the fraudster an 18 months prison sentence. Nevertheless, it does appear as though crime does pay in this case. And, it has the appearance of the judge adding insult to injury!
