Jacqui Smith lies to the House of Commons during apology
Her constituents were obviously not her number one priority, Jacqui Smith's number one priority was and is Jacqui Smith.
It is not enough to say sorry. She must repay the £64,240 she inappropriately claimed.

No ifs, no buts she should have been interviewed under caution, had her DNA taken and the case forwarded to the CPS.
Then see them let her off with an apology - there would be rioting down 'essle Rode and a few more places!
What with a war criminal who was a former Prime Minister milking the lecture circuit for all it is worth. Plus making sure he does not spent enough days in the UK to be liable for tax on his ill gotten wealth.
Now we have a former Home Office minister who is a fraudster still being allowed to keep her snout in the Westminster trough.
