Smoking ban rebel landlord is jailed
A mixture of law, politics, autobiography and humour. Once described as "The Devilish Advocate" (Guardian), I do have the ability to provoke a response. Sometimes it comes from someone who uses a thought process, and sometimes from jerks usually associated with the knee.

Mr Hogan represented a small minority because HE WAS THE ONLY ONE WITH THE GUTS TO STAND UP TO A FASCIST DICTATORSHIP. Everyone else just tugged their forelocks and said "yus , my lords, anything you say, my lords"
Its a pity that while so many seemed "supportive" of the ban,(the coucil's own words) so fucking many of them went out of business BECAUSE of it! Thats what you get for not standing up for your rights.

So why doesn't this big-mouthed "spokesman" go into the houses of parliament and barrack THEM about smoking in public places i.e. the house of commons and the European parliament building, both given exemptions against the ban because they said that trying to enforce the law there would be "unenforceable". NO IT ISN'T! You throw a number of MP's into the slammer, just like you did to that poor landord! I see that the law wasn't "unenforceable" in his case, was it?
