It's close, it's very close...
A source in London has informed me that it is close, very close. And, that the BBC was about to broadcast a story which the police intend to use as evidence in a prosecution. My source, reflected on Thatcher, and said that she was bad, but that this is worse, a lot worse. My source said, that we used to call Fleet Street the street of shame. Now it is Downing Street which is the street of shame. I find myself agreeing with my source who has close links with the BBC. Vivien Stern wrote a book about the prison system entitled Bricks of Shame. I think it is a shame for the Labour Party, those who are no way involved. And, a shame for the electorate who trusted the Tony Blair Mafia.

John,
If it is something that the Police find vital in a prosecution, then I am happy to wait, I dont NEED to know the details today.
I would hate for a prosecution to fail because us bloggers let the cat out of the bag.
So I think that we must all be careful with our comments and how we present any info that we may happen upon in this particular case.
ianp: I agree. It is difficult for a poacher turned gamekeeper, not to want to trap the bastards. I have been reflecting on this, because my source was at pains to get through to me the police angle, and even allowing for government interference, the police have a difficult job as it is now. Even though, given that the prisons are full to bursting, I suspect that any punishment for any found guilty would only result in community service picking up litter outside of Lord Sainsbury's string of supermarkets!
Well if it is Blair, although my money is still on Gordon being implicated via Levy, then something of the order of Guantanimo Bay would serve well.
Failing that perhaps John Reids new prison ship.
All wishful thinking at this stage, but am getting the feeling that something big is going to happen soon.
As this government is now virtually unelectable, it will either fall, or God forbid go for a full takeover. (all the dictatorial laws are in place after all).
