Tony Blair announces his decision to split the Home Office.
Now I know why Lord Falconer was mouthing off and John Reid was so quiet.

And while we are on the subject, I would also suggest splitting the home office even further so as to include a special department for the repatriation of stray kitty-cats and leashless dogs so that they do not pose a threat to poorly armed police officers..
