Man bites dog...
Iain Dale has had his orders from cokehead Dave, "Cameron was right to sack Patrick Mercer". Yes, Cameron is right in that he is not left. The Tories have elected Dave Cameron, for better or worse, as their leader. There needs to be Party discipline. The problem comes with setting a good example to follow. When kettle starts calling pot black, you're snookered.

Right now, Ukip is looking quite attractive, its current woes notwithstanding.
I see Dominic the Iain Dale Spice Boy is having a go at you again in the comments on Tygerland, John. Apparently my blog is only visited by you... which is strange when you compare the number of commenters we both have.
I don't know bel. They're not strong enough, like the LibDems. It's sad when you are faced with having to decide which is the best of a bad bunch!

As long as we keep each other company, we won't get lonely. I think it's because I'm the new kid on the blog, and they are already calling me an international sensation in America, and that's probably upsetting those who are trying to forge Anglo-American relations.
When I published and be damned on the Beeb gag, my hits were 200 an hour, for 2 days! A lot of people come and don't leave comments. I don't mind. Mine's the thinking persons blog, as opposed to Guido where he put up nowt and leaves it for the commenters to produce the content. Often it's like looking in a bucket of slurry!
I like your strength of character, old school, give as good as you get. I have been ruffling a few feathers, so I should expect to find a few lice!

Wrong. We are not allowed to. Quite apart from the petty rules and regulations imposed upon us from Brussels we have dear Uncle Dubya to answer to first.

ron: I've been thinking about starting a revolution. It's a bit risky, because it is against the law to overthrow the ruling elite. However, when we succeed, all we do is retrospectively change the law to legtimise our movement and then grant ourselves immunity from prosecution. Then we change the law back again to protect the status quo. Even though they only play the same six notes, they are still good and should remain so for posterity...
Why should we protect the status quo? they have only ever given us a series of dodgey number one's on top of the pops (or am I once again on the wrong track??)
