Free the 'Grandfather One'
"Is it really in the public interest that a grandparent is jailed for not avoiding his grandson?".
I feel that Camilla Cavendish should be congratulated for bringing this case to our attention. It is disgusting that at a time when our prisons are so overcrowded a court can sentence a grandfather to 20 months imprisonment for not committing any criminal offence. There is something wrong with our society when the McCanns are rewarded for doing the wrong thing and this grandfather is punished for doing the right thing.
A mixture of law, politics, autobiography and humour. Once described as "The Devilish Advocate" (Guardian), I do have the ability to provoke a response. Sometimes it comes from someone who uses a thought process, and sometimes from jerks usually associated with the knee.

Don't know the personal situation, can't comment. Unlike the multitude of wankers who have obviously seen this post and chosen to ignore it.
Doesn't it make you fekkin' ill to know that people read this story and skim over it because it interferes with their daily lives? Well, fuck them and all what sail in them.
