Britain's shameful treatment of Gurkhas
"About 2,000 Gurkhas watched today as 50 veterans outside Parliament handed back their military medals in protest against the Government's "immoral discrimination" against them".
A mixture of law, politics, autobiography and humour. Once described as "The Devilish Advocate" (Guardian), I do have the ability to provoke a response. Sometimes it comes from someone who uses a thought process, and sometimes from jerks usually associated with the knee.

The British government have always had a shameful record with their treament of Gurkha war heroes. Look at my post about this poor chap here who had his Victoria Cross taken off him for "safe keeping". Yeah.. My arse...

It seems absurd to open our doors to criminals yet slam them closed in the face of the Gurkhas!
