N Power is a gasmeter bandit
On Christmas Eve I put £20 on my gas card to feed my gas guzzling meter and was angered to see that 25% of the £20, ie, £5 was deducted by N Power and I was left with only £15 worth of gas for my 20 quid.
Yesterday, I put another £20 on my gas card and this time N Power stole £5.49p!
Given that N Power has written to me to inform me that my back debt has been paid off, I can only assume that this excessive charge is for the meter itself. There has to be something wrong with charging me an additional amount for buying gas from my supplier.
At a time when the price of oil has dropped by a $100 a barrel, rather than the gas price goes back down again it would appear that this is another price rise by unorthodox means.

My youngest had this with her electric meter, it was eating her credit like mad. When I looked into it for her, turns out she was paying off the last lot's debt!
All they offered my daughter was fifty quid for the her "troubles", which I'm sure was a lot less than she had paid already.
The scandal of the poorest having to pay a premium for their energy is something NuLabor should be ashamed of.
