Allowing Lord Ahmed's sentence appeal, Lady Justice Hallett said that the imposition of a prison sentence in his case had been justified.
I am unable to discover any grounds for appeal, let alone why the Court of Appeal "exceptionally" decided to free him and suspend the sentence. In my view, it was corruption which let him get away with not being charged with death by dangerous driving in the first place. And even more corruption from the Court of Appeal. It is nonsense to claim his texting did not lead to the death of another driver.
A mixture of law, politics, autobiography and humour. Once described as "The Devilish Advocate" (Guardian), I do have the ability to provoke a response. Sometimes it comes from someone who uses a thought process, and sometimes from jerks usually associated with the knee.

If it was you or me they would have thrown the key away when the cell door banged shut, let alone give us the chance of an appeal.
This just makes me despair that we will ever see real justice and an impartial court service after this lot are thrown out.
NuLabor have managed to corrupt the very core of our judicial system and, i don't think I will see the stain removed in my lifetime.
BB: The whole case stinks. He would not accept guilt. Any other prisoner would not have progressed through the system to open jail with out addressing this. It follows that he did not show remorse. Just utter contempt that they even dared to charge him at all! Why didn't he just say "Don't you know who I am?".

Ha bloody ha, this makes an utter mockery of the system, they'll all probably be chuckling about it over drinks at someone's club tomorrow.
They still seem to be implying almost that the victim was the guilty party because he "had been drinking", although strangely no amount of googling seems to turn up any report concretely stating he was over the limit. If he wasn't it is not relevant except to try to apportion the blame with subjective reporting.
If you hit a stationary object, you are at fault.
Simple.
Whenever I listen to the song 'getting away with murder' I will think of the Good Lord.
