Met officer denies sex attacks on girls in Tameside

A Metropolitan Police officer has denied committing sex offences against young girls in Greater Manchester.

Pc Sean Smith, 29, of Critchley Avenue, Dartford, Kent, is accused of 15 counts of indecent assault on three girls in Tameside between 1996 and 2001.

The alleged victims were aged between five and 13 at the time.

"He has been placed on restricted duties at Eltham police station in south London".

Does this mean that he is only allowed to fiddle with paper clips?
