A prison officer who exchanged romantic text messages with an inmate awaiting trial for rape has been jailed for 21 months at Blackfriars Crown Court.
Lisa Harris, 28, was caught trying to smuggle a mobile phone into Pentonville prison in north London last February.
The court heard Harris had an affair with Daniel Lynch who was convicted of raping his ex-girlfriend and arranging to have acid thrown in her face.
