Prison stand-off draws to close
A protest by dissident republican prisoners at Maghaberry prison has ended.
Twenty-eight prisoners locked themselves in the dining room of the County Antrim jail after Mass on Easter Sunday morning.
The republican prisoners locked themselves into the room at Roe House on at about 1000 BST.
The prison service said the stand-off ended after an intervention by staff, which was ordered by the governor.
The service added that the prisoners returned voluntarily to their cells, a move that was observed by members of the Independent Monitoring Board.
