Cameron: Wogs go home
As I was saying yesterday here.
I suspect that Steve Bell will get more flack for this cartoon and the use of the term "wogs" than the racist David Cameron will for his views and policy and speech even though he avoided the use of the term.

I'm french and i bought the guardian yesterday to get some correct news about UK ,but I don't get the "wogs go home" thing ,could please explain it so i can get the picture (i've been looking about it on the internet but i can't find anything reliable) ,thanks
A wog is a politically incorrect term for a black person. According to the Tory Party too many immigrants and asylum seekers are being allowed to come into this country. They are seeking tougher border controls. This leads to the accusation that they are being racist. Therefore, they are seeking a way of saying what they want without appearing to be racists. However, the cartoonist has cut through the bullshit and states it the way it is.
thanks ,nice explanation and by the way this a very god political blog (i wish we had the same in France ,but people now think that talking about politics sums up critizising President Sarkozy (who is by far the worse President we ever had) ,this shows why the political debate is very low in France (sorry for the grammar!))
