Ga-ga over gas?
I am wondering what is happening. The last half a dozen or so times lately, I have forgotten to turn the gas off on the cooker after I have used it. I used to do this automatically before I removed the pan or the food from the pan. As it is only on low heat it does not waste much money, or the cooking oil doesn't burst into flames. Still, its a worrying development and has me wondering if I am beginning to go slightly ga-ga.
A mixture of law, politics, autobiography and humour. Once described as "The Devilish Advocate" (Guardian), I do have the ability to provoke a response. Sometimes it comes from someone who uses a thought process, and sometimes from jerks usually associated with the knee.

Age catches up with us all. I try to turn off the gas, on the other hand, and am foiled every time. I have electric.
it's wither you age or the results of being gassed on a previous occasion.
