Viscount Linley will not appear in court in Royal blackmail scandal
"The Daily Telegraph has learnt that the Crown Prosecution Service has blocked moves to require him to give evidence in the case, which opens at the Old Bailey on Monday".
The British media are prevented from naming Viscount Linley as the blackmail victim by an order of the court. However, he has been outed on the internet and named in newspapers and on TV in Italy, Germany and the USA.
