Brown calls General Election which excludes 73,000 citizens
It is no accident that Labour has started the race for power with the knowledge that 73,000 convicted prisoners are disempowered by being denied their human right to vote in the General Election.

That top photo makes them look like the mafia!!!
CP: I thought it reminded me of Reservoir Dogs...
I do find it a rather alarming picture...
You lost your £20 then? Always though you would, it was never going to happen this side of the election

TBF: Yes, I have lost £20. However, I suspect that the country has lost far more. The bill will have to be paid.
Whilst I admire your persistence, I don't agree with you (for reasons that I won't go into here) - my main objection is that it's being dictated to by a foreign court who, ironically, I/ we can't influence via the ballot box.
That said, you shouldn't worry too much, as I've blogged here in February...

...you've lost the battle but not the war. Should the Tories win (which they probably will) then they will cave in and 'sneak' out the news during a high profile event i.e. during the emergency budget 50 days after the election.
Personally, I would put £20 on prisoners getting the vote by 2015
