A mixture of law, politics, autobiography and humour. Once described as "The Devilish Advocate"
(Guardian), I do have the ability to provoke a response. Sometimes it comes from someone who uses a thought process, and sometimes from jerks usually associated with the knee.

I'm sorry Sir, but I haven't got a clue

It does not give me any confidence in the coalition when the government is asked a simple question, and replies that they are considering it and will not reply until they know what they are doing.

Apparently the other day, Cameron was in the House of Commons and spotted Charles Kennedy, so he walked over to what he thought was one of his new coalition allies and offered a hand of friendship to the sat down Charles Kennedy. Kennedy not only refused to get out of his seat, but refused his hand, then said "Don't expect me to fucking support you". He then later on asked a Labour MP to become a "pair". A pair is when one of the government MP's pairs up with one of the opposition MP's and they both agree to abstain a vote. He said to the Labour MP " I don't want to vote for these bastards".
The government spin machine has gone into overdrive and said they had an amicable conversation. Kennedy has yet to refute the story...or more importantly back up what the PM's office has said.
