This is the kind of tosh Iain Dale has written on the subject. Note that he has employed comment moderation. And note the comment he has let through which is an incitement to murder.
The Human Rights of Mrs Lawrence
The case of Philip Lawrence's murderer being allowed to stay in this country upon his release, because to deport him back to his native Italy would breach his human rights, surely has to call into question the future of this fault-ridden piece of legislation. Listening to Philip Lawrence's widow this morning, there can surely be few people who would argue that this Act has failed her and her two children. What about THEIR human rights? The right to live in peace and security and free from the fear that one day they might run into their beloved husband's and father's murderer.
I hope the Home Office will use their right to appeal this case, because the precedent it sets will be of huge importance.
PS Mr Chindamo was sentenced to life for Philip Lawrence's murder. He will be released after twelve years. So a headmaster's life is only worth twelve years. That is perhaps just as big a scandal as the abuse of the Human Rights Act.

I will be on Channel 4 News tonight talking about the subject of forgiveness. I am glad that at least someone in the media isn't listening to the tosh Iain Dale is spouting which is really the sock puppet speaking for David Davis.
A mixture of law, politics, autobiography and humour. Once described as "The Devilish Advocate" (Guardian), I do have the ability to provoke a response. Sometimes it comes from someone who uses a thought process, and sometimes from jerks usually associated with the knee.

But it's tosh, you say. He's just the sock puppet of David Davis, you say. He tells lies you say.
And you complain that he employs selective comment moderation but lets through comments that incite murder.
Your complaints do actually largely refer to his blog output, which is surely massively influenced by his character anyway so I don't see how you seperate the two.
So I'm bound to ask again why you recommend to me that I read a blog where I will find tosh, incitement to murder and lies, published by a sock puppet to David Davis? Is that really what qualifies as good reading?
Robert: That particular post was tosh. He is the blogosphere's mouth piece for David Davis. That's no secret. Iain Dale's Diary provides good reading for those who support his views, and good reading for those who oppose his views. I just think it is a shame he cannot be more honest about his telling lies and being caught out telling them, and being a hypocrite and being caught out being a hypocrite.
