LibDems could lose third place to BNP

LibDems could lose third place to BNP

One in five 'would consider voting BNP' after Nick Griffin Question Time appearance

More than a fifth of the public would consider voting for the British National Party, according to the first opinion poll taken since the appearance of its leader, Nick Griffin, on Question Time.

It would appear that the badly staged managed QT performance has led to the BNP gaining the sympathy vote. I think this is called sympathy for the devil.

This news wouldn't surprise me in the slightest. Nick Griffin was thrown in to the lions den and handled himself well under the circumstances. The BBC have well and truly screwed up and doing a bit of research myself, I logged on to the BNP website and they have received over 9,000 new enquiries and a strong forum of support.

The British public love the under dog and the under dog gets votes! Ask Simon Cowell, he'll tell you!
The BBC thought they were being clever... well more fool them!

Well John, the BNP certainly won three new supporters, the three teenage boys I was watching the program with! They didn't listen to (or understand) anything the other panellists had to say, they just hung on to Mr Griffiths every word. At one stage one boy had tears in his eyes! None of them are at all racist. I think most of the new supporters will be like them, young, jobless, poor. He must seem like a beacon of hope to them .I don't know any other public figure that can do this.

Think what you may of my comment but my neighbour is a lady of 89 years old. Worked all her life, paid taxes and is struggling to get damn help off social services for a meals on wheels service. In fact, my partner and I look after her and make sure she's OK. The next street contains a block of flats and a bunch of immigrants. Before I go any further, I have met a few of them and find them friendly and polite. However, I wish I was actually living in those flats along side them as they have been kitted out with new carpets, vouchers for food and clothing and when I say they are wearing all the latest fashion, I mean they are wearing all the top named clothes. Sorry, but I think it's a f****** insult to my neighbour and other British citizens (pensioners) that can't claim for fuck all apart from a yearly heating giro! I'm only saying what people are thinking but at the end of the day, you take a look at what these immigrants actually get off the Government and it's an eye opener. My guess is after reading numerous forums on this subject is, I'll place my bet that there are more than 1 in 5 who would consider voting for Griffins crew!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a comment I picked up from the Sky News website off a discussion thread-

Questions I feel need answering:
Why is it ok to have so many black-only or Muslim-only associations and groups in the UK?

National Black Police Association?

National Black Nurses Association?

Muslim Doctors' and Dentists' Association?

The list goes on almost ad infinitum.

As a white British person, I assume I would not be allowed to join any of this societies, based solely on the colour of my skin or religion?

Yet white-only groups are a huge no-no.

Is that fair? Is that equality? Where is the racism here? Seems to be very one sided to me. It's not a level playing field.

- Sorry folks, but I have to agree with the person who wrote this because it's true. If people truly believe that skin colour is not a problem then why all these groups and associations for one colour? It's a fair question is it or is it not?

Anon, I agree with every word..That is why I left England years ago and live very happily in Spain. I do however live amongst spanish people .The English when abroad do tend to live together in areas and not learn the language. That is my only criticism.

Anon...this is a perfect example had this women who complained about a Gay demonstration been Black and Police had gone to her door. This would now be called racism and she could take the police to the cleaners and win .

Roger Cordrey

Part of the South Coast Raiders gang, Cordrey was a florist and was considered by Reynolds to be very discreet and one of the least likely train robbers to be caught.

He was arrested in Bournemouth after having the bad luck to rent a lock-up from a policeman's widow. He was jailed for 20 years which was reduced to 14 on appeal.

When he was released in 1971 he remained discreet as ever, going back to the flower business and moving to the West Country.

xxxxxx

I remember this one he had The Buttonhole in East Molesey...The shop is still there and thriving.
Just around the corner from there is a great Pub called The Bell. This was Dick Turpins watering hole...if you ever get the chance take a trip there.
