Lord Fraud

Lord Fraud

I hope one of those letters being posted tomorrow is addressed to this thieving scumbag. After donating £500,000 to the Labour party he was made a life peer. His family fortune is worth £500 million, and yet this greedy snout in the trough stole £38,000 from the public purse. He took advantage of the expenses system. He claimed an allowance designed for those living outside of London whilst actually living in London. He fraudulently claimed that a one bedroom flat in a hotel which is owned by his family was his main residence. A requirement under the allowance system is that one spends the most time living there. He did not even spend one night there! Therefore, he knew full well when he made his declaration to claim the allowance that he was lying and not entitled to the money. This, under the law, is obtaining money by deception.

When can we expect to see Lord Paul of Marylebone being prosecuted?
