It would be nice to get popular support for a group in society who are said to be unpopular. This is not a reference to expenses fiddling MPs, rather it is a reference to convicted prisoners who are being denied their human right to the vote. This is not a case of the State v convicted prisoners, nor the State v the Council of Europe, nor even the media v convicted prisoners. This is a case of the individual v the State, or if you like, the Association of Prisoners v the State.
A mixture of law, politics, autobiography and humour. Once described as "The Devilish Advocate" (Guardian), I do have the ability to provoke a response. Sometimes it comes from someone who uses a thought process, and sometimes from jerks usually associated with the knee.
