What's that archway? The Prisoners Votes Monument? When does Hull get an equestrian statue of J Hirst?

Charles: I call it the "Brandenburg Gate". It's the cast iron gateway to Pearson Park. I suspect that the gates were melted down for the war effort. I did think of painting Prisoners Votes on it...

I will get on to the council for a statue of Hull's most infamous adopted son...

Hey, don't downplay the infamy.

You'd look good in a windblown toga on that horse. Wreath of laurel -- or something a little stronger?

CP: He did. I put off the walk for a couple of hours until it had stopped snowing. I think it is time I bought a pair of wellies!
