A mixture of law, politics, autobiography and humour. Once described as "The Devilish Advocate" (Guardian), I do have the ability to provoke a response. Sometimes it comes from someone who uses a thought process, and sometimes from jerks usually associated with the knee.

lawschoolinmate: My pleasure. I don't often have a large readership, usually about 250 per day, but sometimes it goes to 2,000 per day for particular stories I post, and for me that is a lot. I like to think I get quality readers, and I think that beats quantity. Sometimes my readers are from government departments or the MSM, and I don't think they would come and waste their time here. I do understand the value of publicity, and I have come to appreciate some of the blogging friends I have made. It doesn't hurt to give someone a boost.
