Bog standard and Panasonic NV-DS29EG user manual English version
A couple of days ago whilst sat on the toilet my bum cheek got nipped. Upon closer inspection I discovered that there was a crack not only between my cheeks but also on the toilet seat. I cursed whoever had broken it. The landlord's agent bought me a replacement. I fitted it and sat upon it, as you do, only to discover that this one too had a crack. I phoned the landlord's agent and said the one he got me had a crack. He replied it was checked at the shop and it wouldn't be replaced by them. I checked the toilet seat only to discover it did not fit flush with the top of the bowl. It wobbled left to right. My hands either side of the seat rocking as though bum cheeks, I saw the problem. As the weight on both sides goes down the plastic seat in the middle at the back goes up into a ridge hence the crack. The landlord's agent brings me an extra tough toilet seat and this appears to be ok and can withstand the flexibility needed for the situation. However, the crack in the bathroom wall has widened to about an inch. Subsidence, hence the tilt of the toilet bowl...
Today I bought a second hand Panasonic NV-DS29EG video camera for £89 from Cash Express. Only when I get it home do I discover that it is minus the user manual. I search the internet in vain. Eventually I find a site once I have answered 10 questions as to how I rate the Panasonic NV-DS29EG for ease of use etc, I give it 10/10 on each question. A window pops up telling me always read the manual before buying the item. I download the manual only to discover it is in bleeding French!
Anyone know where I can get an English version?

Try copying it in to Google Translate.
On the Panasonic site (support/downloads) John
support downloads
Then just enter Nv Ds29 in the model number box and hit search.
Bob: I tried that and it said page too large to translate.
Anonymous: That did it. Thanks.
No problem John.
What you may find a problem though, is that in today's suspicious and nervous society. a man and video camera is either a terrorist or pervert.Be prepared to have your civil liberties challenged if not curtailed.
Anonymous: If you scroll down to the YouTube you will see that the police have already attacked my legal and human and civil rights to film. Therefore, I intend to film more. A sort of police watch. And other things where I feel they should be policing rather than an innocent citizen journalist.
Are DIY bloggers entitled to a "press card".
Anonymous: No. But I have already thought about an association of likeminded people, bit like the NUJ. But, what I did was perfectly legal and the police abused their powers. I feel that this threat should be monitored.
Perhaps, even a everybody film the police day...
I am thinking today wasn't your day and hopefully tomorrow will be better :-)
Cherrypie: It wasn't too bad actually. I got £500 for the advert I placed on my blog...
Wow! :-)
Cherrypie: It beats Google Ads pay per click. I received nothing in a month. Then this offer came along which I couldn't refuse. I originally said £365 per year. I was then offered £500 if I take no other adverts from personal injury lawyers. I think it was a good deal.
