A little earlier I called Duncan Campbell to give him a tip, and he said: "Didn't you know I had retired from the Guardian?".
Obviously not.
I feel his loss from the world of journalism as much as I was saddened when Paul Foot went to write his column above the clouds.

Have to say I did not know much about Duncan Campbell until now . He released a book back in March called If It Bleeds..he also addresses the fact that journalism is no more.
