Hacker loses extradition appeal

Hacker loses extradition appeal

A Briton accused of hacking into top secret military computers has lost a Law Lords appeal against being extradited to stand trial in the US.

I think there is something rather disturbing about a country which allows for the illegal Guantanamo Bay regime to operate to set itself up as a global police force demanding other countries surrender its subjects for a dose of US justice.

Well, it's not like he committed the offense in another country and the US is saying that it should be policing the other country. He committed the crimes on US property; the US should have the right to prosecute. The question is really where he committed crimes (for jurisdiction); since he did it electronically, I'm assuming from the UK. However, I believe that since it was US computer databases he hacked into, the US should be able to extend jurisdiction and he should be extradited.
