Police may offer 18-year-old computer hacker a job
New Zealand police are so impressed by the skills of a teenager at the centre of a global credit card scam worth millions of pounds that they are considering offering him a job fighting cyber-crime.
This sounds like a more sensible solution than a custodial sentence for the sake of it. It is a shame that so many with Aspergers Syndrome end up in prison. There needs to be more attention paid to these flawed geniuses and the introduction of individual treatment packages for them, and society can only benefit from what they have to offer.
