Eye eye
Just been to the opticians for an eye test and some new glasses because my right eye is like looking through a condom. The optician found the problem. I have a cataract.
A mixture of law, politics, autobiography and humour. Once described as "The Devilish Advocate" (Guardian), I do have the ability to provoke a response. Sometimes it comes from someone who uses a thought process, and sometimes from jerks usually associated with the knee.

Poor bugger. I have an astigmatism. At least we don't have glaucoma. All the best.
James: Actually I do have glaucoma and previously had laser surgery to release pressure behind my eyes.
When you have the chance to get the cataract removed take it.
My Mum had this done, but she had to wait until the cataract was in a particular state before it could be done.
My eyesight has imperfect since I caught the measles, aged 5. My far vision has deteriorated even further over the years.
In the last year, my one eye has started to struggle with near vision too.
I need bright, natural light to be able to see anything clearly!
