MPs vote to keep stealing whilst denying prisoners the right to vote

I am absolutely livid that MPs have voted to keep the controversial expenses system. This is not democracy at work. The voting creates that impression. However, it is rather like Fagin in Oliver Twist asking the pickpockets for a show of hands to go out thieving.

Will the last person to leave Britain turn out the lights? Providing, of course, that MPs have not stolen the light bulbs.

It beggars belief that MPs have the right to vote on whether they should be allowed to continue robbing the electorate blind. It is not a human right to be allowed to steal. On the other hand, it is a human right for citizens to vote for MPs. And, this human right extends to convicted prisoners. Why haven't MPs voted on this issue? Obviously, they are too busy voting on lining their pockets from the public purse.

MPs scream about the re-offending rate. The re-offending rate in Parliament is much higher. It is time that the Houses of Parliament were renamed the Houses of Corruption.

Yes, this was one of the more despicable ones, to be sure.
