A mixture of law, politics, autobiography and humour. Once described as "The Devilish Advocate" (Guardian), I do have the ability to provoke a response. Sometimes it comes from someone who uses a thought process, and sometimes from jerks usually associated with the knee.

To be fair to Dominic Grieve, he was only reiterating the law. Personally, I think he'd find it as galling as anyone to prosecute someone for spilling the name of a tosspot who used the legal system to stop unsavoury details coming out about his private life.
There are some injunctions which exist for a very clear and fair reason. Mary Bell, Maxine Carr, Robert Thompson and Jon Venables all have a right to protection under the law and I believe that without an injunction they would not get it. Their lives would certainly be at risk and, even if their lives would not be at risk, you could argue that their lives would be intolerable if such protection did not exist.
The injunction re Venables has already been broken, with recent pictures and details flying all over the place. I believe that these kind of injunctions concern Grieve more than the 'Ryan Giggs' type.
