Iraq: A white feather for Cornet Wales?

Mad Boris Johnson has a moment of sanity and recommends that in stead of sending Tony Blair to Coventry, to live next door to Mike Rouse, we send him to be our man in Baghdad.

Meanwhile, typical of the Officer Class, Cornet Wales sends the cannon fodder on ahead whilst he stays safely along way back behind the front line, because it is not deemed safe for him to go to Iraq. Is it any safer for any other soldier in Iraq? So, the no special treatment for a member of the Royal Family has already gone out of the window. His blog, Iraq Diary of Cornet Wales, so far has no posts. The heraldic badge of the Prince of Wales consists of three white feathers. Perhaps, Cornet Wales should have a single white feather? He is quite prepared to let others be a target, but not be prepared to be a leader of men. He should have stuck to playing with his toy soldiers in the £9M estate daddy has just bought him.

A former more senior officer recommends that America and the UK should admit defeat and retreat from Iraq. A quiet sound of reason in the clamour of madness emanating from George Bush and Tony Blair.

You say that:

He is quite prepared to let others be a target, but not be prepared to be a leader of men.

Erm by all accounts he wants to go, but the MoD and the Govt have got the wind-up just in case he gets hurt or killed and it makes their war look even worse.

Harry seems to be doing everything he can to go, it's not his fault if the toerags at the top are doing their damnedest to stop him.
