Prison education scheme 'failed'
Schemes to improve prisoners' basic skills and qualifications in English jails have "failed in almost every respect", an MPs' committee has said.
A mixture of law, politics, autobiography and humour. Once described as "The Devilish Advocate" (Guardian), I do have the ability to provoke a response. Sometimes it comes from someone who uses a thought process, and sometimes from jerks usually associated with the knee.

How many nationalities are involved ?
The reason I ask is that in privatized profit making care of our elderly, British carers were expected to teach English to non-English speaking immigrant workers of different origins.
Does this likewise apply to prison officers ?
