Sleazy Tory Councillor receives £10k for 5 meetings
A prospective parliamentary candidate at the centre of a row over council allowances in Cornwall has stood down.
His resignation came amid reports he made more than £10,000 in allowances as a county councillor, despite attending only five meetings in the last year.

Rightly so .... doubtful any equally corrupt labour MP's will follow suit or do the honourable thing.
The cost of labour MP's expenses are collectively mind blowing. To add insult to injury they're reported to be taking a two week holiday at Christmas !
